Yoga is a multifaceted practice engaging the body, breathe, mind, and behaviors leading to feeling centered and connected.

Along the way, the student may gain physical strength, flexibility, energy, balance, pain relief, improved posture, reduced stress, emotional ease, and a life-long tool bag for facing all manner of life’s ups and downs.

Susan offers private and small group yoga classes in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Classes can be scheduled in home or work settings.

Susan has over 26 years of experience teaching a wide range of students including young dancers, working professionals, prenatal and postpartum mothers, geriatric rehabilitation patients and those with multiple sclerosis. Susan draws on her practice in flowing hatha yoga styles and incorporates her knowledge of anatomy, physiology, dance, alignment, breath control, and meditation and postures (asana) in her classes.

She teaches with clear verbal and tactile instructions, attention to flow and breath, sequencing that challenges and contains the student, variations for postures for all levels, and a touch of humor.

No open public group classes are being offered at this time.
